  1. Cupping: Cupping therapy is an ancient form of alternative medicine in which a therapist uses special cups on the skin for a few minutes to create suction that separates tissue within the body. Clients request cupping for many purposes, including to help with pain mitigation, inflammation, muscle adhesion release, healing from injury, specific health issues, increase range of motion, relaxation and well-being. It is essentially a type of very deep-tissue massage that incorporates both static and moving cupping.

  2. Blading: Fascial blading is a form of gentle, instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization. The blade itself acts as an extension of the practitioner’s hands and allows the clinician to gently identify and breakdown scar tissue adhesions and fascial restrictions.

  3. Taping: Tape is designed to mimic the skin’s elasticity so you can use your full range of motion. The tape’s medical-grade adhesive is also water-resistant and strong enough to stay on for three to five days, even while you work out or take showers.

  4. Flossing: Tissue flossing involves applying an external pressure above or below a muscle or joint of the extremities, typically by using a circumferential, elastic band. The pressure provided by the coiled band safely maintains arterial inflow of blood but reduces or occludes venous outflow distal to the site.

We are Rock Tape certified for Functional Movement Techniques which includes: Cupping, taping, blading and flossing. We also have a cupping and Gua Sha certification from Meridian Health Education.
